DELGA's 2009 kicks off with Lib Dem LGBT Conference

Former Party President Simon Hughes MP opened the first session of the conference

DELGA, the Liberal Democrats' LGBT campaign group have started 2009 on a high note, with their second national policy & strategy conference. Guests included Simon Hughes MP and leading London Euro-PPC Jonathan Fryer at the day conference held in London on Sunday, which drew attendees from as far afield as Yorkshire and the North West.

The conference focused on campaigns and elections with the European elections just twenty weeks away and a General Election which has been rumoured for as soon as April but which is guaranteed to happen within the next eighteen months.

DELGA's Summer Policy & Strategy Conference will be held in Manchester on June 27th.
