DELGA Members experienced a great weekend - Knocking on Newquay to assist local PPC Stephen Gilbert

At end of a long Weekend!

It's over now - aside from the blisters and memories.

But what fun we had.

Over the weekend of March 14 & 15, 35 Lib Dems from across the country joined local PPC Stephen Gilbert and Constituency Manager Hamish McCallum for the largest action weekend the party in Cornwall has seen for decades.

We knocked on 7,532 doors. Met 1,555 people. And 53% of them were supporters! We had 50 new offers of help and recruited new members too!

But it wasn't all "work work work".

There was a cliff-top BBQ (well, in a house on a cliff!) and surfing lessons for those who were brave enough!

It was an amazing weekend.
